Beschreibung:

 In today's digital world, artificial intelligence plays a significant role in language learning. This course is designed for English learners who want to improve their language skills of English with the power of generative artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Deepl. Over six sessions, participants will learn how to effectively use these resources to enhance their vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills. Through a combination of interactive activities and practical exercises, students will explore the potential of genrative artificial intelligence for language improvement while also addressing ethical and environmental considerations. The course takes place in English, however your trainer will be ready to support you also in German if necessary.

Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Use ChatGPT and Deepl to enhance their English language skills.
Improve vocabulary and grammar throughGenerative Artificial Intelligence-based suggestions and corrections.
Practice English in real-life scenarios using AI-generated content.
Build confidence in using G-AI tools to continue their language learning journey independently.
Understand the ethical implications of Generative Artificial Intelligence language tools and practice responsible usage.
Recognize the environmental impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools and explore eco-conscious alternatives.

Lesson Plan:

Session 1: Introduction to Generative AI Language Tools (90 minutes)

Introduction to the course and its objectives.
Overview of ChatGPT and Deepl.
Practical demonstration of how to use these tools.
Interactive discussion on the potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence in language learning.
Ethical considerations related toGenerative Artificial Intelligence language tools.
Discussion of the environmental impact of AI-generated context.

Session 2: Vocabulary Enhancement (90 minutes)

Using ChatGPT to expand vocabulary.
Interactive exercises for vocabulary building.
Utilizing Deepl for context-based word suggestions.
Vocabulary quizzes

Session 3: Grammar Correction and Improvement (90 minutes)

Understanding grammar suggestions from Generative AI.
Practical exercises for improving grammar.
Common grammar mistakes and how to avoid them.
Peer review and feedback on written exercises.


Session 4: Pronunciation and Speaking Practice (90 minutes)

Generative AI tools for improving pronunciation.
Listening and speaking exercises using AI-generated content.
Interactive pronunciation challenges.

Session 5: Real-Life Conversations (90 minutes)

Role of ChatGPT in simulating real-life conversations.

This course is designed to empower English learners to embrace the potential of Generative AI in their language learning journey, and gaining the confidence and skills needed to use these tools effectively for self-improvement beyond the course.
