Beschreibung:

 Adobe Indesign is an awesome software to create print and online publishing media. This course is dedicated to print media, from conception of a layout design until a finished product ready to print.
In the first part you will learn how to use the basic functions of InDesign, and create easy layouts such as postcards, posters and flyers. Besides small practices and exercises, you will be able to familiarize yourself with editorial design Know-How, including typography, colours, patterns and designs.
The second part of the course is dedicated to the prepress workflow, and the conception of a booklet to print. If you already have a project in mind, they are more than welcome! This course provides a creative space to initiate booklet projects such as CV, portfolio, graphic novels, zines, newspaper articles or art catalogs. Together we will apprehend how to prepare your document, from importation of graphics and fonts until colour management. The prepress workflow will be clarified, as for the export of a PDF-file for offset printing. At the end of this course, your booklet project will be ready for the printing house.

This course will be provided in English. Beginners are welcome, as course attendees who wish to refresh their knowledge with Adobe InDesign. USB-Stick is mandatory, in order to save your project and the course material. The VHS is providing PC and the latest software version of Adobe CC InDesign. Please make sure to have an Adobe Account before to start the course (free registration).

This course is open for Windows and Mac users. Beginners are welcome, as course attendees who wish to refresh their knowledge with Adobe InDesign.
